#330788 Disciplinary procedure

Posted by ron on 20 May 2012 - 08:29 AM

Could anyone tell me please if there is any precedents where a 15 year old girl strikes an opponent after the match. The girl in question got suspended from all football activities sine die with no review for 2 years. She had an excellent disciplinary record with no previous record of any bad behavior. I believe she has been discriminated against because she is a girl and this punishment wouldn't be given to a boy or even in the mens game.

Racist behaviour should not be tolerated, he racially abused another player, end of discussion.

Saw him on HMV in Oxford Street on Sunday. The moment I saw him I was just filled with disgust. I gritted my teeth and just kept my eyes on him. In the most bizarre of locations to go to, he was also looking through his CD collection.

The staff noticed him as well, and he realised everybody was looking at him and promptly left.

Corporal punishment.. when you hit a child, what are you teaching them? That hitting someone when you perceived they've done wrong is okay. Which more often than not leads to them growing thinking domestic violence is fine.

#264986 Would you want to win the lottery?

Posted by Miner 2049er on 12 July 2011 - 04:25 PM

Having considered the options carefully I'd very much like to win 166 million. Tbh I don't bother playing it until the jackpot hits 50 million as anything less than that just isn't worth winning really, small change.

#251392 Spurs want Man City-Stoke moved

Posted by Panto on 19 April 2011 - 01:51 PM

I think Levy and Harry are onto something here. I reckon we would have a much fairer league system if no league match rearrangement could happen without Spurs' approval. Even better, Spurs should control the fixture list. Maybe they should also decide on league placings due to the unfairness in their underachievement of the past 100 years coupled with Arsenal's overachievement of the last 100 years. They should also pick where they want to build a new stadium, as it's unfair they cannot move into another teams borough and knock down a 500 million tax funded stadium and destroy all legacy of the Olympics.

#261776 Villa to make Houllier decision

Posted by kevb8ll on 12 June 2011 - 05:38 PM

Oh dear, I have a number of my Villa supporting mates contemplating chucking themselves off the Rotunda!

I REALLY REALLY hope AM goes to VP. We have played some of the worse football I've ever seen at St Andrews under him. The only exception was the cup run.

#239250 Arsenal v Barcelona

Posted by Guest on 16 February 2011 - 10:57 PM

For the first hour Barcelona were a different class then Arsenal got the believe that they could get something. Once they had levelled I had a feeling they could press on and score again. Once they took the lead I think it knocked Barcelona's confidence as they did not look as thought they could level the score (which is unlike them)

Good result for Arsenal but they will have to get that vital away goal back at Camp Nou

#232815 Wired or Wireless?

Posted by Orkman55 on 15 January 2011 - 05:38 PM

At work my laptop is wireless as they only have a wireless network to use the internet with.

When I'm at home with Mrs Ork we could us wires but her wireless is quality then both our laptops use wireless. I also have my Xbox 360 on wireless but if a laptop gets used as well then massive lag creeps in! I would prefer to have my Xbox wired into the internet.

#228059 Carlos Tevez

Posted by Miner 2049er on 16 December 2010 - 01:36 PM

I hate agents and do agree they can really harm players careers but he's the one who has the final saying, can't just blame the agents. Tevez has always been a hot head and his greed is getting the better of him. He'll become a bit of a journeyman I reckon (well, he practically already is) until he hits 30 and then he'll go back to Boca to play the hero role with all his money safely tucked away.

Whilst he does have the final say I think you need to factor in quite how thick some of these players are, Rooney and Tevez have never striked me as being particularly bright, certainly not academically or financially. Both their respective sagas this season smack to me of being engineered by their representatives and hangers on rather than by themselves. Both Rooney and Tevez may truely have been convinced that they are unhappy in their current situation but to me that unrest is most likely the result of manipulation from their advisers to serve their own interests rather than the players themselves.

Those advisers if acting in a moral way could equally inform their players 'you've never had it so good, sit quiet, play well, and earn your 150,000 a week. Strangely such advice although sound, would not earn those advisers the huge fee they can charge for negotiating a transfer or a new massive contract which they only get if they unsettle their clients first. Some footballers are probably too smart to be manipulated this way but some such as imo Rooney and Tevez probably aren't.

#197532 Which individuals have impressed you most/least so far in this years World Cup?

Posted by Spanky on 24 June 2010 - 08:16 AM

least: Wayne Rooney...as usual, a flat track bully...check out all the goals he scored against bottom 4...a gross but a golden boy by media

most: John Terry....dad sells cocaine/charges for tours to Stamford Bridge/shag Bridge Jr's mother/ now gives most ill-advised press conferences in England's World Cup history. a total wannker!

Hilariously wrong about Rooney, and then talking complete crap about John Terry despite him being your most impressive player?

Wait, this isn't even a real person, why am I bothering?
