I know a tad belated, however we have missed a lot of debate regarding earlier round draws held in Asia to promote this season's sponsors of the competition 'Carabao', also to broaden English football's spectre even further. Using a competition that is currently, sadly much maligned.

Tonight
Arsenal vs. Norwich City
Bournemouth vs. Middlesbrough
Bristol City vs. Crystal Palace
Leicester City vs. Leeds United
Swansea City vs. Manchester United
Manchester City vs. Wolverhampton Wanderers

Tomorrow
Chelsea vs. Everton
Tottenham Hotspur vs. West Ham United

Martial and Rashford both starting tonight, rare occurrence that makes our game much more interesting. Tuanzebe and McTominay both starting. Hopefully Lindelof has put the weekend behind him...

I wonder how big the sponsorship deal is I can't imagine it's huge, the Carabao Cup sounds stupid.

It does sound stupid, gone are the good ol days of the Coca Cola, Worthingtons and Carling guises.

Just put the game on, rare start for Romero between the sticks for United too. Attendances have generally dipped over the years in this competition, waiting for tomorrow night to check how many attend Wembley, 24,000 last round there vs. Barnsley, about 40,000 i'll have a guess at

No idea what that was all about. Spurs never looked interested second half. For the more cynical among us, one of those occasions where you do have to wonder

The quarter final draw was done on Social Media? Not suspicious but the semi finalists will be City, United, Arsenal & Chelsea

One of my close friends is a Bristol City supporter so tempted to make the trip to Ashton Gate depending on ticket prices.

I drink with a Bristol City fan so hopefully my prediction that City will edge that tie with home advantage wont be too far off.

I know it does not have the quantitive history of the FA Cup, or will have the romance of the competition, however it's still romance to see a team, even in the days of the current inflated infrastructure to defeat a advent calendar seller from the Premiership, when they lie as prospective promotion candidates.

I quite like the League Cup from quarter-finals onwards. There's a Christmassy vibe about the quarter-finals, and the two-legged semi-finals are a novelty. Would prefer the final to be on a Saturday but hey, you can't have everything.

Watched the City reserves out play a lumpy Leicester only to get mugged with a soft penalty in the 95th minute. (Fergie-time to all you United fans) But justice prevailed i the penalty shoot out but by then I had fallen asleep,

Arsenal scored & another "1-0 to the Arsenal" is making me think that its back to the old days for the Arse.

Suspect that United reserves will park the bus at Ashton Gate & escape with an Arsenal (1-0)

Chelski should see off Bournemouth who appeared a bit "shell-shocked" on Sunday.

Will be watching Bristol City v Man Utd tonight, hoping to see an upset and other than Argentina internationals will be a chance for me to see Romero in goal for United. I think he will be kept busy, I have watched a lot of Bristol City's televised matches, they are very entertaining and attacking, constituting goals from all positions. A real threat that not a lot of United fans will realise, the ones that only stay plugged into the Premier League that is.

Was at work so only caught the 2nd half of extra time and the shoot out of Leicester vs Man City, definitely shouldnt have been a penalty to Leicester in added time, it was barely a brush of the shirt, not a tug. There was also no contact of the heels, maybe from the refs position he thought he saw contact that wasnt there, after all it was Madley. Giving Gray credit he may not deserve, it may have been his own momentum that took him down and not a dive. With all the changes City look a tad more lothargic, this is understandable as a lot of those players dont get to bathe in the Pep revolution as much as the City regs.

Sadly we could have semi-finals with Arsenal, Chelsea, Man Utd and Man City, from a different persuasion than most I like to see a variance in the latter stages of the cup, when it comes to the sides that reach it.

Mkhitaryan might be back in the team for this one, make or break time for him now. Looking forward to it, we have such a big squad that even our rotated squad is pretty strong so hopefully get the win and go all the way. If we're going to be so many points off the pace in the league then lets pick up some more cups :thumbsup

Sometimes Mourinho really needs to just stay quiet. You couldn't argue the winner wasn't coming. Hugely disappointed at the result but loved the scenes at the end, especially Lee Johnson hugging the ball boy

Well that was a shock? A hugely entertaining game? It just looked as though City wanted it more.
