Saw When in Rome mention this idea, so here it is a thread to talk anything Championship. From managerial appointments/sackings, up and coming talent, and there is a lot, aswell as the plethera of massive sides and one of the more entertaining leagues to watch.

Top dollar. Thanks TB. The board needs more structure IMO, like specific sections for each league, anyway that's for consideration by others.

And tonight there are a fair few games in the Championship on a big night of European and domestic football.

Not quite what I meant. For example, this section says Premier League, Football League and Cups (so a Championship thread is fine) but FA Cup is found in General Football.

General Football seems to cover anything but the first one, European and world football so it might be better labelled as that.

To be honest I'd just have one football section encompassing anything and everything.

Chris Coleman makes five changes to the Sunderland team to play Aston Villa tonight. I've got this guy in my Championship fantasy team and hope he can add to the two goals he got at QPR on Saturday...

Morison and Gregory clearly can't cut the mustard at this level, between them they've only scored 1 goal from open play and that was back in August.

I keep thinking of that Wembley goal that got us here. We are struggling for goals up top, the defence isn't too bad and I reckon we'll have enough this season at least and will stay up.

I watched Wigan Athletic beat Doncaster Rovers last night 3-0 it was a good game. Ryan Colclough scored 2 & would have got a hat trick but his wife's waters broke & he had to rush off to the hospital to witness the birth. He still had his kit on too when his new son arrived.

Biggest shock of the night was top of the table Shrewsbury losing away to bottom of the table & manger less Bury. Well done "Shakers" if only Atletico had beaten Bradford last Saturday then Atletico would now be to of the table.

I think clubs will be in for both Savile (he's quality) and Archer in January, we are drawing too many games, can see us getting sucked in. We've been unlucky on numerous occasions this season too with bad decisions.

Can't even score against Hull who conceded five at home to someone recently. Don't think anyone will be in for Archer.

Had you down to win that one on super 6 2-1, was of no consequence as i put barnsley v cardiff as a 1-1. Looking forward to the Championship midweek round up on sky. Plenty of goals, nine and two hat-tricks in one game alone, revitalised Clarke for Sheff Utd, Fulham and England young starlet Sessegnon with the other in an amazing 5-4 win for the Cottagers. Despite Sheff Utd's lofty position, they are yet to draw a game this season, interesting stat.

Wolves again looked menacing by the report I read over an inconsistent Leeds, the promising Macedonian Alioski netting for the whites. Leeds and Middlesbrough played out an entertaining contest on Sunday with Leeds attaining the win, shows their inconsistency.

Middlesbrough hit-man Assombalonga looking good with 3 in 2 games. I believe 11 in a season already blighted by injuries, if he stayed fit it would be scary the plethera he could reach. To garner a 15 million transfer fee between 2 Championship sides just shows that many are of the same ideology.

What a strike from Boga. Blues 1-0 up at HT. Can't believe it to be honest. Still fearing the worse!

Sheffield United 1-1 Birmingham City

A fair result but Birmingham fans could argue they deserved more. They were magnificent for an hour but when Leon Clarke found a way through, it did look like the Blades would go on to win. It was a fantastic strike from Boga in the first half.

I thought we would lose 3-1 when they equalised, but actually, we didn't really give them another sniff. After poor passing in the first 15 mins, we did alright.

Sheffield United because of that result have left Nottingham Forest now as the only side not to have drawn a game within the division. Useless fact I know lol.
