Looks like some good games on the tv this week.

Spurs v Arsenal, City v Leicester look intriguing. Weird to think that was the top four in 2015-16.

The Spurs v Arsenal game could well be a cracker. The Arse always do well at Wembley & absolutely destroyed the Spuds in the reverse fixture so I am expecting them to be up for it.

The Blueshite in a 6 pointer with The Palace? There is disquiet at Castle Grey skulls .Goodison or the Theatre of Bitterness as it is more commonly known. The gargoyles are not happy with Big Sam & his negative tactics & last weeks debacle at Arsenal has not helped

United at Newcastle so a big chance for the United board to tap up Rafa so he can replace Jose at the end of the season when Newcastle go down & United miss out on a top 4 finish? Might have a punt on Jonjo getting a red card.

The big one is on Sunday with us at a resurgent Southampton & the possible return of Dick Van Dyke, Mane, Lallana, et al. It could well be a difficult game but a good one for the neutral which is probably why we will be live on the TV.

Could Monday be Conte's last game? Defeat or a failure to win could well spell the end of his reign.

Southampton are 7/2 to win at home against Liverpool (&3/1 the draw) this looks a good bet especially when you consider that our recent record at St Mary's is pretty dismal (no goals in the last 3 visits?) & that Southampton appear to have turned their season around somewhat & we still have issues at the back & have difficulties in unlocking a massed defence when away. Mind you we will be wearing our orange kit?

As a "Bluenose" is doing our syndicate bet for the Cheltenham fund this weekend he has divided our wedge into a home win for the Saints & an away draw for the Mighty Reds. May well increase the stash?

Save your money, 3 nil Liverpool all day long. Once we conceed we go into hiding, this will happen early on through Salah, Firmino will add another before half-time with Salah adding a third around the 83rd minute. So wont be watching that down the pub, watch it from the living room i think, so many armchair scousers go down my local so just aint worth it.

Spurs outclassed Arsenal. Wonder were the Arsenal players still thinking about Sanchez.

Looked like Sanchez was still thinking about Arsenal today. It was certainly an Arsenal level performance.

Almost right Truth Bestower?

Disappointed with Spurs v Arsenal game, they appeared to cancel each other out. But the Arse can now concentrate in getting back in the Champions League via the Europa League.

Good win for the Blueshite which was greeted with pure unadulterated derision from the bitter faithful. Not good enough Big Sam?

Distraught about todays football. The daughter brought home her first boyfriend for Sunday tea today & it was my turn to cook, so didn't have much time to watch what transpired. (Beef wellington with championise potatoes & veg) Not inly is he a handsome bastard but he is a part time United fan (athletics & rugby League are his main sports)

Must admit it spoilt my enjoyment of Newcastle's win & it felt really weird having a  United fan in the house getting all excited. Also missed most of our match against Southampton but from what I sw I thought we were lucky in the 1st half & then the 2nd half was a none event,

Anyway got to go & give this loser a lift home (back to Leigh) before the food poisoning kicks in? At least he is cleaning up the kitchen & doing the dishes. Must have word with daughter about her priorities in life & choice of partners.

I watched it in a bar, so there was no sound, did Lallana still get booed or was it saved for Van Dijk?

Van Dijk was greeted with jeers, thought they were going to bring Lovren on for him because his feelings had been hurt, Lovren's so used to getting jeered it's like water off a duck's back.
