I have one of the SHIFT games. The cars do some sliding about on the track as if their little or no grip. Doesnt feel real at all.

I think it's pretty good to be honest. I have read about people having problems with keeping the cars in a straight line, but I use a wheel and with that it's fine.

I was grand with the lower powered cars but the higher powered ones just didnt have a real feel to them going round corners. Zero grip and they'd slide even without much speed involved. I was really enjoying it up until that though.

I think you're talking about the first one. I had that as well and the high powered cars were impossible to drive. It was later sorted with a patch, although it still had some issues with the faster cars. It's why I didn't buy second one, once bitten, twice shy, and all that. But when I saw it was free with PS+ (which I've been considering having another bash on to get some deals in the bag) I thought what the hell and it's turned out better than I thought.

Worth more than mine! That's my next purchase but will have to wait for the missus to be back after maternity. Thing is, although it cost a grand, I'm getting it through cycle to work scheme so I pay for it before tax so save 35% right away and get to spread the payments interest free over 12 months.

I'm doing rather well with my golfer at the moment, just maxed out the stats and am No.1 in the world for 10th consecutive week. Haven't ventured into the highest difficulty yet, I'm on the one below it but that's still pretty tough
