Neither should come as a surprise, but I feel Moyes has been hard done by. The job he has done has been impressive, especially given the backdrop, and I feel as though even the fans had come round to him.
As for Allardyce, he only has himself to blame. He had another crack at a big job and reverted to type. He was once a forward thinking manager at Bolton whose football wasn't as bad as critics like Wenger claimed, but wasn't given the backing to push on like he wanted and left. Never given a chance at Newcastle and unfairly booted at Blackburn, before he became a survival/promotion specialist with West Ham, Sunderland and Palace. Not to mention him screwing up the England job.
