Tuesday 10th

France vs Belgium

Wednesday 11th

England vs Croatia

Guessing you English fans are absolutely bricking it? Or just happy to have got this far now? Croatia have played two 120 minute games and had the stress of pens twice in a row now, that surely has to have an effect. I'd have England as slight favourites but cant help but think Modric will dominate the midfield.

France Belgium should be be great with some immensely talented players on show.

Both. I haven't felt this way about football in many, many years. It consumes my every thought and I can't take it.

I'm heading to Greece for a holiday but all I can think of is that we land at 19:45 local time and the game kicks off at 21:00. Where am I going to watch it? Will my mobile coverage be sufficient enough for me allow me to stream the match?

As for the game (with my objective hat on), I think we if we stop Modric we are favourites. Croatia will be tired and have had to reshuffle the pack, while I expect Sterling to have his best game of the tournament. With my It's coming home hat on, I think that nice things don't happen to England and this is the end.

Well I bought the Croatia top before the tournament so I will have it on. But England making a World Cup final would be something special. Personally I just hope the best team on the day goes through.

Would like to see France make the final, they have some of the most exciting players to watch in football in Griezmann, Mbappe and Pogba.

Bit of both. Can't believe we're in a World Cup semi-final and against a team who are talented but beatable, which is what worries me. Playing Germany in the other semi-finals had a c'est la vie glorious failure feel to it, whereas I would be properly disappointed to end it here now.

Balls to that third place game too

All you can ask for is the chance to make the final and we have that chance. No nerves, I think we will do it but if we don't its been a great tournament and hopefully a lesson learned for cynics and the media that it IS ok to support England because the change in mentality has been really refreshing.

I'm even enjoying the over top and sometimes illogical defense of Sterling, even though I wouldn't be starting him - but hes part of the team and this is a team.

Rather than worrying about Sterling fans should be focusing on the likes of Maguire, Lingard, Trippier, Pickford and ofcourse captain Kane who have all been immense.

edit - oh yeah and bring on tonight too, France v Belgium has everything needed to be a classic. Cant wait.

A really intriguing game. I though France were excellent at the back and will take some beating in the final.

Set-piece goal to win it, what a load of ripoffs. Nothing in that game made me particularly worried about the prospect of either team (although Mbappe is absolute lightning), a lot of the games are down to fine margins with nobody being amazing, although that tends to be the case in a lot of tournaments, like 2014 where Germany battering Brazil glossed over how they weren't fantastic the whole way through. If you win it, nobody really cares how.

Can't believe it's today, I don't want it to be over yet.

Really tied game between France and Belgium. I expect the same this day. Croatia is strong in the midfield, but England looks great in every side of the pitch. I am sure GK will be again critical

Just in case you were confused, the extra half-hour they played is what sometimes happens when you get out of a group stage.

Can't complain about the way the game went, had the openings to make it comfortable in the first half, then Croatia took over. Probably a step too far to go from the awful Euro 2016 to a World Cup final, but puts us in good stead for the future, particularly the prospect of a Euro 2020 that's basically hosted at Wembley.

Turns out I'm not the only one who thinks the English pundits have been massive twats, I love Modric for this.

There's a lot the pundits can be criticised for, but not sure about his point there. Some of the Croatia team looked dead on their feet against Russia, it's not unrealistic to suggest that might take its toll.

Once a knob always a knob.

Thought it was a good game. In the end the better team went through. Modric could be on for player of the tournament.

It's an extra 30 minutes of running for top level athletes, of course they will be tired on the night, but I never buy that it will affect them four days later.

They did look like they'd been through the wars in that game compared to the Denmark and England games they played though, almost had to prop the goalkeeper up and the rightback barely trained since. Obviously wasn't a factor in the end, I think mental fatigue did for us instead.

It was a tough defeat to take but we have done incredible to go so far and with such a young team and we have brought positivity back to the English game. It has been an excellent World Cup. Overall Croatia and France have been the two most impressive teams throughout this tournament, they are the deserved finalists. What a platform for this young group to build from though. We can be happy and now bring on the Euros! COME ON ENGLAND!

ITS COMING HOME! ITS COMING HOME! FFUK MARK AND DYSART!
