:bolton v :arsenal

Bolton will be looking to continue their mini revival here against Arsenal, who always seem to struggle away from home against teams from the North West.

Wigan Athletic - last on Match of the Day since 2005.

Not the sort of game Arsenal will relish, they got an almighty fright yesterday, and the natives are extremely restless. Bolton are undergoing a mini revival under Coyle and will make it tough for the visitors, but the Guinners have enough quality to eke out a win.

We need to win this to keep in touch with the top four, probably means we'll conspire to lose though.

Bolton have a fairly good record against Arsenal if memory serves, can see them nicking a draw in this one too.

It will be interesting to see if Bolton can put in another performance like they did against Liverpool in their last league match. I suspect Arsenals class will tell but it won’t be easy for either team

I can see us dropping more points here. Not confident at all.

Shameful dive from Davis in the first half.

That top four finish is definitely looking unlikely now.

How much longer can Wenger be allowed to rest on past glories? He is dragging this club further downward by the month, a Europa League place doesn't even look all that likely now.

I am beginning to agree now, I thought it was clear as day that we needed reinforcements in this transfer window but we made hardly any movements at all.

Season ticket holders who pay some of the highest prices in the league have every right to be fuming that last summer we sold two of our best players for big bucks and have so far failed to reinvest it in replacements of similar quality. Apart from the cups this season is now looking like a wash out. Wenger has to take at least partial responsibility for that.

I still would love to know just exactly how much the board were willing to let him spend, as stubborn as Wenger is I can't believe a manager with his success can't see his squad needs investment. I think Arsenal could be getting taken for a ride someone is making a ffukin fortune.

The word on the grapevine is that Wenger and Arsenal have already got an agreement in place for him to go in the summer on a mutual basis. That would go some way to explaining why he hasn't spent any money, when we are desperate for signings.

We banked a summer transfer profit of something like £22 million, not small potatoes. Given that we are regularly told Wenger has £40 million to spend that means there is £62 million worth of potential squad strengthening cash somewhere.

Wow really? Morinho to fill his place? He has stated he wants to move on come the summer time preferably to England. Capello maybe?

I would hate to see Wenger finish his reign at Arrsenal like this though. What is your financial situation, it has to be good surely.

Interesting times if Wenger does go.

Could be monumental thing for Arsenal for sure, will be watching this closely as it might give us United fans a glimpse as to what is ahead when Fergie decides to call it a day.

Whenever it does happen, I still believe that we are in for a bumpy ride post Wenger. Probably not as bad as I feared in the past however as most of the players I feared losing if he left have gone already sadly.

Not sure who would replace him but would be very surprised if it is a big big name like Mourinho, can't see him coming here and can't see us going for him.

Europa League is a safe bet. But I wouldn't be surprised if they still finished forth. Chelsea, Newcastle and Liverpool are hardly setting the world alight.
