:stoke V :sunderland

Stoke may have recently been cited as the league’s most boring team but they are a formidable team at home. Sunderland who are now one of the Premier Leagues in-form teams should present them a challenge.

Still find it nothing short of astonishing that Sunderland were looking good for the drop before Martin O’Neil took over, now they are looking a distinct possibility for a European place.

Stoke have had Huth sent off and since Sunderland have taken advantage and lead 1-0 through McClean.

Sunderland are 8th. 6 points off Newcastle now.
