So they're going to let him off with everything? :rofl Serves them right for thinking he was a player worth so much money, should of took the 20mil while it was there and be done with it. He'll be their hero again next season no doubt.

The again not surprised they're getting desperate as the creativity at City has certainly started to dry up in the last couple of months.

I hope he comes back, great player. Could just be the difference maker in the title race.

The players will happily take him back as he is THAT good, if him and Mancini can co exist for a few weeks with an agreement for the summer in the pipeline then it'll all be happy families. Fans are fickle as well so I cant see a problem there either.

I hope he backs to Argentina and plays his football here, I don't think you will support him again :lol

Where is there any evidence of us saying we're going to let him off with anything? Mancini knows full well that he cannot say he is going to exclude him as it weakens the legal case we are building against him. We've consistently been fining him (something in the region of £9m) and he is expected to drop his appeal against that (mainly because he hasn't got a hope in hell of winning it). If he comes back even 1% away from match fitness then expect him to be slapped with another fine.

I don't want to see him in the shirt, and I can't honestly see him playing for us again.

As for this;

Haven't your lot done exactly this with Rooney? :lol

I'd agree with Moon.

This is City and Mancini (who I'd credit with more than a modicum of more sense than Tevez) trying to look reasonable, 'the door is open, all he has to do is come in from the cold' sort of thing. The smart thing for Tevez to do would be to call their bluff and take them up on the offer as then if they don't play him or continue to fine him it will them looking unreasonable. If they do play him then it is an opportunity to get in the shop window for a summer move. Sadly I imagine he will do the predictable and stick two fingers up at them which is what they probably hope he'll do as it confirms that he is being unreasonable.

If he can come back and in the right frame of mind he will be a great asset in the run in.

Mind you if I was a City fan I’d be considerably more excited about the imminent return of Yaya Toure

Moon will you stop spoiling all my over the top digs at City with sensible replies please? :lol

I do think though that if he does come back he'll end up getting games.
