I'd say 4 wins and 8 draws at home is pretty poor for a club like Liverpool.

Pleat is clueless and Wilkins talks to the audience as if he's coaching and I find him condescending.

I like Ray Wilkins. Generally I find most of the lead commentators are OK, it's the co-commentators that are a bit ridiculous. Andy Townsend, Craig Burley and Chris Waddle are the worst in that respect.

Some of the ex-players that Sky use at the moment aren't up to scratch either, but they are generally getting better. Kevin Phillips was practically unlistenable a year ago.

Alan Smith, an absolute c**t of the highest order. If Rooney plays Smith'll give him MOM for finding a teammate with 1 pass.

It irritates me that Beglin and Townsend often commentate on England and are Irish, the whole ITV set up is a farce to be honest.

Generally speaking the commentators for English football are pretty poor. Wilkins and Neville have been OK except for one game each in Europe. I still can't believe Andy Gray doesn't commentate any more, he was easily the best. Perhaps prone to hyperbole, but great nevertheless.
