Thought i'd start a wee thread to see what everyone fancies/has on at the bookies and how they get on.

Personally, not a big better, the odd bet here or there on football every so often. However, looking to get a bit more into it in terms of betting small and winning big (as we'd all like :D ) so also feel free to fire any tips in this thread as well for those of us who fancy a wee punt!

I've near enough stopped random betting bar events like the National. Tournaments are always worth a flutter though, so I'm looking at a handful of golden boot bets on Euro 2012, and see what odds I can get on Poland reaching the quarters.

Just joined up for Bet365 online, put 20 quids worth of bids on, small amounts for big odds. Hopefully to build up a decent amount. Few different bets on the Roma Napoli game tonight as well as 2 on the Manchester derby on Monday and of course a casual 2 quid on 5-0 Celtic tomorrow! :p

Any tips out there? I stuck a fiver on Man United 1-0 for Monday night and also a fiver on Man United half time, draw full time.

We used to have The Gambling Prophet as a member who would give us free tips but he disappeared.

Get him back! :D

I've a few bets on the Roma Napoli match which is on ESPN just now as well. Just small bets, fiver on 1-0 for Roma and a fiver on 1-0 Napoli and a random 2 quid on Napoli half time, Roma full time.

Well theres my Napoli half time Roma full time out the window. Just have to hope Roma hang on to the 1-0 but don't see it happening, more goals in this game.

I stuck a fiver on Newcastle and a fiver on the draw at half time. Didn't happen.

Put a tenner on Fulham to beat Liverpool tonight, they've just put out that they have pretty much fielded a 2nd team with the FA Cup final in mind no doubt so hopefully that'll work in my favour.

Haha nice wee money grabber that, reckon it would have bust a lot of peoples coupons as well with just automatically taking Liverpool at home without thinking.

As soon as I saw the team I was in. No idea why that grab says 20:23 mind you, it wasn't in-play as Fulham had scored by then.

I stuck it on this afternoon at 9/2. Will use some of the awards to stick on a decent coupon or two for the weekend.

Just put £2 on Drogba to Score first and Chelsea win 2-0 at 66/1.

Too right, I was gonna put money on Carroll to score next when he came on, didn't then he scores :(

Then, I put another quid on him to score again and he can't bury a header from 3 yards :lol2

Stupid game
